This was the first of a two per week workout
schedule. I get to workout again tomorrow. Leyn increased
his dojo time because I'm nearing the end of my work contract.
We did thirty of every warm up exercise to begin the class.
When it was over I was too. We worked the Eight Form, and
Sanchin. The other seven Kata we did twice each, starting
each one in a different direction. Leyn emphasized elongating
the steps and ensuring that the rear foot was brought up.
We had a brief discussion on the proper
position during Kumites; continued the discussion of the
relaxed natural movements of the body.
